Blog-o-drama: Getting in front of the camera.

I have always been more comfortable with the idea of taking pictures to having my picture taken. I claim to prefer being behind the camera which indeed I do, BUT, it is so undeniably pleasing to ponder over a flattering picture of one's self! 

Monologue: "OMG, I look taller / slimmer / fabulous in this picture!", followed by "Wooo! New Facebook profile picture!".  

I am in complete admiration for people who are naturally beautiful thus, pixel perfect or even if you are not so au naturale but compensate in terms of having plain ole skill-supported balls (i.e. Photoshop / Cosmetic brillance, wit, charisma DOTDOTDOT).  

So this is me growing some. Starting with my prize assets: my arse and my back! Grin. 

I think its fair to build on bits that I am most confident with before moving on to more unpredictable grounds - MY FACE!

Do you ever look at pictures of yourself and squirm at the expression you have on? 

ONE, When you attempt at a nonchalant-passive-but-cool-model-face but instead you look just angry. 

TWO, you attempt that model-face again but instead look like a deer caught in headlights with uncertainty written all over your face.  

THREE, When you're smilling so wide that you're suddenly conscious about how un-straight your teeth are and how wide your nose is?

DOTDOTDOT... the list of self criticism knowns no end if you let it be. ;-)
